Fabrication is the process of cutting, shaping, and assembling metal to create bespoke structures, components, or machinery built to exact specifications.
Electrical support involves the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and controls to keep your machinery and operations running safely and efficiently.
Planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep your machinery running safely and efficiently, with minimal disruption to your operations.
From one-off components to fully assembled systems, we manufacture high-quality, bespoke metalwork and machinery to suit your exact requirements.
We design, install and maintain mechanical systems tailored to your site, covering everything from production lines to complex machinery.
We offer precise laser steel cutting for a wide range of components, ensuring clean, accurate profiles ready for fabrication or installation.
Increase efficiency, save money & increase quality with our machinery.
We work across food production, manufacturing, packaging, water treatment and distribution, and our engineers understand the demands each of those environments brings, from washdown areas to continuous production lines. We are not limited to those sectors, though. If your business relies on machinery, pipework or production equipment, we can support it. Send us a brief outline of your site, and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Yes. We can take a project from initial consultation and concept design through to fabrication, installation, commissioning and handover, so you deal with one point of contact rather than co-ordinating several trades. That includes health and safety documentation, RAMS, scheduling, site co-ordination and liaison with your own engineering or production teams. If you would rather we simply fabricate to your drawings and handle the installation yourself, we are happy to work that way too.
We do both. Our Burnley workshop handles fabrication and manufacturing work in controlled conditions, which gives tighter tolerances, better quality control and less disruption to your operation. Our engineers then work on site across the UK for installation, modifications, planned maintenance and emergency callouts. On larger projects, we often split the work, building and pre-assembling as much as possible in the workshop before a short, planned installation window on your site.
We fabricate in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium as standard, and we can source other metals where a project calls for it. Grade selection is guided by the environment the part will live in, so a washdown food area, an external structure and a water treatment application are each specified differently. Our in-house laser profiling service cuts these materials to precise tolerances, which keeps lead times short and reduces reliance on outside suppliers.
Yes. We regularly fabricate stainless steel components for food-safe and washdown environments, including hygienic welds, crevice-free joints and finishes chosen to stand up to routine cleaning chemicals. Material grades and surface finishes are specified around your process, your cleaning regime and any audit requirements you work to. If you have a specification from your technical team or an auditor, send it across, and we will build to it.
Yes. We design in-house using 3D modelling and CAD software, which lets you review and sign off a design before any metal is cut. Our mechanical engineering team builds new bespoke machinery and also adapts existing systems, whether that means improving throughput on an ageing line, adding guarding, or reconfiguring equipment to handle a new product. Reverse engineering is an option where original drawings for legacy equipment no longer exist.
Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency support, 365 days a year, because unplanned downtime is expensive and rarely happens at a convenient hour. Our engineers arrive equipped to diagnose the fault, carry out a repair where possible, and advise on a permanent fix where a temporary measure has been used to get you running. Breakdowns involving control panels, wiring or motor faults are handled by our electrical support team.
Our maintenance and inspection programmes are built around your site rather than a generic checklist. They typically cover scheduled inspections of critical machinery, servicing, wear part replacement, calibration checks and written condition reports for your records. The aim is to catch developing faults during planned downtime rather than mid-production. Frequency is agreed with you and weighted towards the equipment that would hurt the operation hardest if it stopped.
Yes. Our team holds certifications including SMSTS, IOSH, PRINCE2, IPAF and PASMA, and we keep those qualifications current as standards are updated. We are experienced in tightly regulated environments such as food production and water treatment, where permits to work, isolation procedures and site inductions are part of everyday practice. RAMS and method statements are provided ahead of any work so your site team knows exactly what is happening and when.
Yes. Our engineers understand how strict food environment protocols are and treat them as non-negotiable. They carry dedicated food-safe toolkits to avoid cross-contamination, wear the PPE your site requires, and follow site-specific procedures on hygiene, foreign body control and area segregation. Where work takes place near live production, containment and cleaning arrangements are agreed with your technical team beforehand so the area is handed back audit-ready.
Yes. We are based in Burnley and work with many clients across Lancashire and the wider North West, but we deliver projects throughout the UK. Nationwide travel is built into how we operate, so distance does not change the standard of the work or our response to a breakdown. If you are outside the region and want to gauge how workable a project is, tell us the location and scope, and we will be straight with you on timescales.
