We routinely handle mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, with our fabrication services covering plate, sheet, box section, tube, and structural steel across light and heavy gauge work. Coded welding is available where the application calls for it, and finishing includes shot blasting, painting and galvanising through established suppliers. 

Our Laser Profiling machines cut flat plate in-house and feed Fabrication & Manufacturing the same day, so if your job starts life as sheet or plate, the parts are profiled, folded and welded under one roof. That holds edge quality consistent from the first part through to the last, keeps material nesting efficient, and removes days of avoidable transit time. 

Both are standard work for us. Our general manufacturing capacity is set up for single breakdown components made against the clock and for scheduled batch runs delivered on a call-off pattern to suit your production plan. Setting up a job once and holding the programme means repeat orders run faster and match the first batch, rather than drifting between runs. 

General machining of one-off items follows the same inspection route as batch work, so a single replacement shaft, bush or spindle is measured and signed off against the drawing before dispatch. Small quantities are treated with the same seriousness and paperwork as long, high-volume production runs.

Yes. We act as a subcontract metal manufacturer for manufacturing businesses and engineering companies that need extra capacity, a specialist process, or a workshop able to absorb overflow at short notice without a long onboarding exercise. Drawings, specifications, and commercial information you supply stay confidential, and we produce work under your part numbers so it drops straight into your existing supply chain and stock system. 

We can also work to your inspection requirements and deliver with the paperwork your quality system expects. Many arrangements begin as a trial order to cover a short bottleneck, then settle into scheduled work with us as your subcontract metal manufacturer.

We manufacture across food processing and production, packaging, chemicals, water treatment, quarrying, recycling and general industry, along with plant used in warehousing and materials handling. The common thread is production equipment that has to keep running, so the work is driven by uptime rather than any one sector. 

That breadth means a solution proven in one industry is often applied to another, particularly around wear parts, guarding, conveyors and access platforms. Tell us the process and the problem, and we will work from there. Familiarity with regulated environments also means we understand hygiene, safety and inspection expectations before arriving on your site, instead of learning them halfway through a job.

Yes. Our workshop is set up for heavy plate, large weldments and long shafts, with overhead lifting capacity and the floor space to assemble sizeable frames in one piece rather than in bolted sections. Where an item is too large to transport complete, we build it in planned sub-assemblies designed to be joined on your site, with match-marking so the fit is repeatable. 

Send outline dimensions, approximate weight, and any access restrictions at your end, and we will confirm at the enquiry stage what we can handle in-house. We carry out an access survey before the build starts, so nothing arrives on a lorry that cannot be lifted into position.

Either route works. Supply CAD files or paper drawings, and we manufacture to them directly. Supply a worn part with no drawing at all, and we measure it, produce the drawing ourselves and work from that, which is common with older machinery where the original documentation has been lost. 

General machining and fabrication services are then carried out against the agreed drawing, with dimensional checks recorded so a repeat order five years from now matches the batch you receive today. If a sample part fails early in service, we will flag the likely cause and suggest a material change, a section increase, or a small design amendment before manufacture begins.

We work from CAD files in the usual formats, PDFs, hand-marked sketches and paper drawings, including old blueprints where the dimensions have faded. Third-angle and first-angle projection are both fine, and we handle metric or imperial dimensioning without you converting anything first. 

Where a drawing is unclear, incomplete, or contradictory, we query it with you before cutting rather than assuming and producing a part nobody can use. Send what you have, even if it feels rough, and we will tell you quickly if we need anything else.

Breakdown work is treated as a priority and slotted into the schedule ahead of planned jobs, with our fabrication services and machining running in parallel where a repair needs both processes to finish on the same day. Our team can attend site to strip, measure and refit, which cuts out the delay of waiting for parts to arrive before anyone can assess the failure properly. 

Once the replacement is fitted and the line is running again, our Maintenance & Inspection team can put the asset onto a planned check routine, so early signs of the same fault are picked up at a scheduled check rather than during the next unplanned stoppage.

Yes. We stay involved after handover, which is why manufacturing businesses use us as an ongoing engineering partner rather than treating us as a parts supplier alone. The same team that built the equipment handles installation, commissioning, adjustment, and later modification, so nobody has to relearn your process from scratch. 

If a machine or line needs control panel work, rewiring, motor connection, or fault finding, our Electrical Support handles the electrical side, so mechanical and electrical work aren't split between two contractors blaming each other.
